Unlike traditional food delivery platforms that prioritize individual dishes, street food purchasing decisions are often driven by vendor familiarity and trust. This project explores a vendor-first discovery model, shifting the browsing experience from item-based search to identity-based selection.

Problem

Street food is a beloved part of Indian culture, known for its diversity and rich flavors. However, there are several challenges that customers face when trying to access street food:

  • Difficulty in Locating Vendors

  • Inconsistent Food Quality and Hygiene

  • Lack of Vendors Background

  • Limited Payment Options

Goal

To create an intuitive, user-friendly mobile application that:

  • Make discovering and ordering street food easy and reliable.

  • Ensure consistent food quality and hygiene through verified vendors.

  • Provides a variety of secure payment options.

  • Provide background info & authenticty of the vendor

Empathize

Understand the needs, motivations, and pain points of street food enthusiasts in India.

User research - Surveys, observational studies and interviews

User personas - represent different segments of the target audience.

Pain points - Identify and prioritize key factors

Ideate

Generate innovative design solutions that address identified user needs and pain points.

Brainstorm - Sketch ideas, create concepts.

Evaluate - Select the best concepts, improvise existing data.

Develop - Create wireframes and low fidelty prototypes

Design

Build and test higher fidelity prototypes to validate design assumptions.

User flow - Simulate the interactions of users, and gather feedback

Prototype - Create Hi-Fidelty prototypes and mockups

Test - Usability testing and heuristic evaluations
